Civic Space Collaborative provided design and installation services for Viva Fall River, bringing to life unique outdoor dining patios for three small businesses along South Main Street in Fall River. The three businesses include Harry’s Restaurant, New England Homemade Donuts, and TA Restaurant.

Designs for the patios were inspired by Fall River’s vibrant cultural history and conversations with the small business owners. Guided by the need of a modular and easy to install outdoor dining space, an creative edge treatment was developed by Claudia Paraschiv with Studioful. The edging around the outdoor seating spaces provides curb appeal to the design’s fabricated components, and is easier to assemble and store for the winter.
